Exposed!

This article exposes the 10 most critical issues in the World and asks for your support to help change and improve our collective futures.

It comes as no surprise to see that the following list of the 10 most critical issues facing us have been with us for many generations.

The Top 10 most critical issues are:

  1. Climate change / destruction of nature
  2. Large scale conflict / wars
  3. Inequality (income, discrimination)
  4. Poverty
  5. Religious conflicts
  6. Government accountability and transparency / corruption
  7. Food and water security
  8. Lack of education
  9. Safety / security / well being
  10. Lack of economic opportunity and unemployment

Reasons

All of us, whether as individuals, communities, business or government are responsible for ensuring we overcome and obviate these challenges; but here are just some of the many reasons why we struggle to overcome these issues:

  1. Political inefficiency, procrastination, lack of will, lack of interest, ideology, affordability, bureaucracy, bullying, insecurity, posturing, nationalism
  2. Business inefficiency, affordability, poor leadership, bureaucracy, greed
  3. Community fragmentation, lack of direction, lack of support, affordability, lack of means
  4. Individual affordability, lack of interest, other priorities, no means, no voice, apathy

There are clearly many things wrong with society, the question is, what can we possibly do about it, when the issues appear to be so big?

The Future?

There are billions of people on the Planet and yet the big political and financial decisions are made by only a few. Our ability to really influence is marginal.

Ideas-Shared was designed to help you change and improve not only your local environment, your personal thoughts and road-map to a better future but also to highlight the big issues and to galvanise people everywhere.

We don’t profess to have the answers, rather we offer an easy to use tool and a process that anyone can follow to effect change and improvement.

We cannot afford to wait on the off chance that someone else is going to act, therefore we need to be brave and we need to say what needs to be said.

For too long, we’ve fragmented the World into little pieces of interest, labelled them to support the argument and then allowed us to fight over the scraps.

Imagine, for decades we’ve created a Public and a Private Sector. People have built careers arguing that one is more important or fair or ethical than the other. We’ve not created parity in income. Isn’t this all rather stupid?

We are an intelligent species, we’re building Artificial Intelligence, Robots, Nanotechnology, we’re exploring the Stars and yet we are still comfortable to see our fellow human beings suffer in places like Yemen, Syria, China, Mexico, in fact everywhere, should you care to look!

This article is your invitation to help yourself and help others, by sharing your ideas, your frustrations, your problems, your questions, your articles, your solutions as well as those jobs you may need filling or can fill to help everyone move forward.

Together we could do so much more if we had the focus and wherewithal to change and improve. Why not join us and contribute today?
