Optimise Recruitment Processes

The Ask

What's The Ask?
Better technology and processes should be able to keep all applicants fully informed.

The Story & Why This Matters

Why Is It Like This?

With millions applying for roles every month, technology should certainly aid in keeping applicants suitably informed. ATS or Applicant tracking Systems should be using AI or automation to give timely feedback and help keep the applicant fully engaged.

Our idea is to improve the recruitment process for everyone, i.e., those that seek jobs and those that offer them.

We've all waited an age after applying for a role never to hear from the recruiter again. This is shows a complete lack of respect and should be addressed through better use of technology.

Companies and recruiters should make a point of ensuring their systems are as good as they could be, and to keep applicants informed throughout the process.
Missing functionality needs to be developed and implemented, otherwise what's the point of having incomplete, or ineffectual technology?

If we can't get ATS systems working properly, then all we'll end up doing is continue to find ways to cheat systems. How intelligent is that?

Companies that fail to implement such technology, or fail to give applicants due regard are probably not worth working for anyway.
