Ideas-Shared uses certain monitoring and tracking technologies, such as cookies, beacons, pixels, tags, and scripts (collectively, “Cookies”). These technologies are used in order to provide, maintain, and improve our website and platform (the “Services”), to optimise our offerings and marketing activities, and to provide our visitors, customers, and users (“you”) with a better experience (for example, in order to track users’ preferences, to better secure our Services, to identify technical issues, and to monitor and improve the overall performance of our Services)

This Cookie Notice describes the types of cookies and similar tracking technologies we use on our services via our websites and apps, how we use them, and what your choices are for controlling cookies.

What are Cookies?

Like most online services, We use cookies to keep Ideas-Shared running smoothly. Cookies are very small text files that are stored on Your computer when You visit some websites. We use cookies to help identify Your computer so We can tailor Your experience and remember where You are in the process. We use cookies on Our main website (https://ideas-shared.com and its pages). A cookie does not contain Your name or other personal information, but We may use the information gained through cookies with personally identifiable information to gain a better understanding of the use of Our Service.

How we use Cookies

Some cookies stay in Your browser for longer periods of time, others are deleted the moment You close Your browser. This expiry date depends on what the cookie is used for and sometimes depends on decisions made by some of the third-party service providers. Cookies can only be accessed in Your browser by the service that created them. You can choose to disable or delete any cookies already stored on Your computer but doing so may stop Our website from functioning properly.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information on how users use our websites, to help us improve areas such as navigation, and to help us fix technical issues or errors. For example, we use these cookies to help us understand how you arrive at our website, browse, or use our website and highlight areas where we can improve our website.

Functionality cookies

These cookies help us customize our website content based on a user’s preferences. They remember the user’s choices, their language, the country pages visited, and any changes the user makes to text size or other parts of our website pages. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and they cannot track browsing activity on other websites.

Registration cookies

When you register and sign in to our Services, we generate Cookies that let us know whether you are signed in or not, and maintain your login session. Our servers use these Cookies to work out which account on our Services you are signed into and if you are allowed access to a particular area or feature on such account. While you are signed in to our Services, we combine information from your Registration Cookies with Analytics Cookies, which we could use to learn, for example, which pages you have visited.

Targeting cookies

We may use other cookies to target and re-target visitors to our websites with digital advertising that is most relevant to the user. These cookies are also used to limit the number of times you see an advert or particular content, as well as help measure the effectiveness of an advertising or marketing campaign.

We also use Cookies to help us with targeted advertising. We may use Cookies set by another organisation, so we can more accurately target advertisements to you

Managing Cookies

You can manage website cookies in your browser settings, and you always have the choice to change these settings by accepting, rejecting, or deleting cookies. You should be aware that you may not be able to use all our features if you set your browser to disable cookies entirely. If you use different computers in different locations you will need to ensure that each browser is adjusted to suit your preferences.

In addition, on your mobile device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, or Android), you can change your device settings to control whether you see online interest-based ads

Do-Not-Track signals

Some web browsers may transmit “Do Not Track” signals to websites with which the browser communicates, telling the website not to follow its online movements. Because of differences in how web browsers interpret this feature and send those signals, and lack of standardisation, it is not always clear whether visitors and users intend for these signals to be transmitted or whether they are even aware of them. Therefore, as with many other reputable websites and online platforms, we currently do not respond to such “Do Not Track” signals.
