Situation
Iceland is well positioned to lead the world in coordinated national action.
It has:
– a small, connected population
– strong institutions
– high digital adoption
But like all countries, coordination across people, organisations, and systems is still fragmented.
When challenges arise, responses can be:
– disconnected
– slower than needed
– limited by structure rather than intent
At the same time, citizens often want to contribute more, but lack a clear, practical way to do so.
There is currently no shared system that enables:
– visibility of what matters most
– alignment of effort
– structured participation
– coordinated delivery of outcomes
The Proposal
This listing sets out a 12-month national program to design and implement a Coordination Hub using the Ideas-Shared Ambition Operating System.
The program will:
– Provide a shared space for national priorities and activities
– Enable structured participation from individuals, groups, and organisations
– Support the creation of plans, tasks, and delivery teams
– Focus on real outcomes, not discussion
This is not a theory exercise.
It is a practical implementation.
What This Program Will Deliver
– A live national coordination environment
– A tested model for large-scale participation and action
– Measurable outcomes across selected priority areas
– A repeatable framework Iceland can continue using
– A global case study for coordinated national action
How It Would Work (High Level)
– Define initial national priority areas
– Onboard key organisations and early participants
– Launch public participation in a structured way
– Support activity creation, planning, and delivery
– Track progress, participation, and outcomes
– Review, refine, and expand
Commercial Model
This is a funded national deployment, delivered in partnership with relevant Icelandic stakeholders.
Funding would support:
– platform configuration and deployment
– onboarding and facilitation
– programme structure and support
– measurement and reporting
The aim is to deliver a working, proven system, not just a concept.
