Behind the hype, the headlines, and the speed of progress, there’s a growing fear:
We’re building systems to replace people — without a plan for the people being replaced.
>>> Jobs are disappearing — in tech, customer service, logistics, education, and more.
>>> Wages stagnate, while productivity and corporate profits rise.
>>> Reskilling promises are vague, underfunded, or out of reach.
>>> Millions face exclusion — economically, psychologically, and socially.
>>> Urban decay, rural collapse, and social unrest become harder to contain.
>>> Truth becomes harder to find — as AI muddies the waters of trust, journalism, and even justice.
Some say this is fear of progress.
Others call it inevitable evolution.
But what if we’re sprinting toward a future that simply doesn’t need us?
Or rather… doesn’t include everyone?
We’re implementing disruptive technology faster than we’re building the support systems needed to protect, include, and empower people affected by it.
No safety net.
No roadmap.
No backup plan.
Just “move fast and break things” — without asking what’s being broken, or who.
>>> Is this the price of progress?
>>> Can we afford to move forward without consent or cohesion?
>>> Who’s responsible for preparing society?
>>> Where is the collective plan?
Add the disruption of AI to the world’s problems: a lack of trust in politics, immigration, financial inequality, economic downturns, debt, and you can quickly see society descend further into chaos, and ultimately extinction?
