Ideas-Shared Internet of People

When faced with adversity or opportunity of any kind, the first thing to do is decide whether you have the skills and leverage to achieve your goals on your own. If you do, that’s great, over to you, but if you can’t then what should you do?

Well, you can start by asking your favourite Search Engine. There’s so much information online, that something is bound to turn up. If that doesn’t work, then you can always sign up for a free ChatGPT account and ask it, or any other AI tool what you should do. Using a combination of Search and AI you will get an idea of what to do, but is it enough?

A World of Information

We have more information at our fingertips than ever, and yet our world is still troubled by many issues.

The Internet was built around information, either knowledge, or websites, and humanity is constantly looking to automate and improve the supply and format of information. Search Engines have grown to be hugely complex, and SEO exists to help users be found, so we spend a huge amount of time and money ‘doing’ SEO to help us get up the rankings, but is it working for the billions of people online that need it, or are we fixated upon an unpredictable, and generally unworkable solution?

People Not Information Is The Critical Factor

With so much information to hand, why are there so many problems? Well actually, that’s easy to answer, and it goes along the lines of not having enough leverage to change the status quo, or not doing the things that are needed to make things better.

Another way to look at it is that not enough people stand up and ask for help, and/or put in place initiatives to hold other people to account, and/or ensure necessary changes are made. Without this, the status quo continues, nothing changes, and so the relentless argument, opinionating, blame, polarisation, and failure continue as before.

That’s why it’s important that we create an ‘internet of people with delivery capabilities’ rather than an internet of information, because now people who are together, and who can put their differences aside, can focus on the bigger picture, and drive the necessary changes for the benefit of everyone.

Paradigm Shift

The world is hugely complex, with hundreds of countries, key ambition areas, hundreds of topical areas, and lots of activities and outcomes that can be acted upon to overcome adversity and opportunity. These are mostly actioned by billions of people and millions of businesses and organisations who need help, structure, and process support.

Ideas-Shared understands the complexity and sheer magnitude of the challenges as well as the opportunity in front of us all if only we had a broader perspective, and chose to collaborate more.

That’s why we built Ideas-Shared. A global community of individuals and entities of every type (including community groups, businesses, non-profits, and government departments who come together in small agile teams to address adversity and opportunity in all its guises, regardless of whatever else is happening in their world.

Now we don’t need to reserve mass participation for events such as World Wars, instead, we can come together as a humanity to tackle local and global issues of every type.

Think Bigger

We feel that one of the few ways our world is going to get better is by as many people and organisations as possible coming together, to create and help deliver a broad agenda of personal, organisation, and societal change and improvement activities. A few people here and there aren’t going to cut it, we need local and global involvement at levels never seen before. We need to be clear that the status quo is no longer acceptable. But is this you? Can you help? If you’re fed up with the world as it is and you are willing to do something about it with like-minded people then joining Ideas-Shared should be the first thing on your mind.
